The demand for scientists and engineers in the technology-driven global economy is ever increasing. While women constitute 46 percent of the work force in the US, they comprise only 23 percent of the nation's scientists and engineers.
Phenomenal Voyage: Women Engineering the Future examines the role women play in technological development. It also explores what is needed to overcome the barriers that prevent teenage girls from excelling in math and science.
