Bold Visions includes appearances by Academy Award-winning actor Marcia Gay Harden (Pollock) and CSI: NY star Melina Kanakaredes, who discuss the crucial impact teachers can have early on and who encourage their daughters to be open to all career possibilities. Viewers also meet Hispanic teenage girls from a Texas high school who, together with other students, have helped make a difference by building a wind turbine to generate electricity for lights at a community center.
